    Who is the tougher of this pair.

    Why?..

    I think Bruce looks like a cute hoor and all that jazz.

    Fresh head Ray though, he'd eat the beard off moses.

    Thoughts?

    Prefer Bruce myself but apparently Ray Mears is as hardcore as they come. As far as i know he trains the SAS.

    Bruce Parry was the youngest ever trainer of the SAS, in his early 20s and he's a bit of hedonist, so, Bruce for me.

    is funny the way ray is a bit on the chunky side but I guess if you're lost in a frozen wasteland for couple of weeks it would be a major advantage.

    Bear is tougher than many might think. There's a lot of smoke and mirrors in his shows but now and then there's extraordinary bravery and a glimpse of a very hard man.

    Ray Mears doesn't look tough but has a lot of knowledge, perseverance and patience. But Grylls and Parry would leave him behind on a long survival trek through fitness alone.

    Parry is hardcore. Willing to get far out of his comfort zone and experiment with anything.

    I'd say a Bruce Parry for the win between these three.

    But I nominate Les Stroud for the most entertaining television survivalist. No camera crew and mad as a hatter.
