    Hi Guys,

Its like i have two seperate accounts, One for my MBA imessage and one for my iphone imessage.

So if i send it to one, it will not be received on the other or vice versa. My apple ID remains the same though. The exact same thing happens to my GF when she sends them through her computer our phone.

Has anyone ever come across this before?

Yes Messages on Mac is just a pile of poo. My only advice is not to use it.

Not just the same but My Sister sent me a imessage when i was away(Iphone) She rang me if i got her message and i said no, When i got home the imessage was on my ipad. Its a serious pain, Not sure how it works on the mac but what i have done is turned it off on my ipad,It was the only answer,

Maybe when ios 7 comes out there might be a fix.

Mine has stayed synced between macbook pro and iphone 5 (on ios 7 beta 5 atm) the whole time, have you tried signing out and back in again on the macbook?

Check the preferences in the Mac Messages app and make sure it's set to send and receive messages using your phone number. iMessages are sent to phone numbers and email addresses, not Apple IDs.
