What is the handiest route by car from Maynooth to Stradbally for EP. I looked up AA planner & it says head to Lucan, Naas Newbridge. Is there a route cross country.

Maynooth , Barberstown Cross , Straffan , Naas Rd/N7 /M7 and take a left round Ballybrittas / Portaloise for Stradbally .
Going back to Lucan would be mad !

Ye, the AA routeplanner seems to be useless. It's sending you via the M50 to get to the M7! The route above is the way to go. Google shows it better than AA.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

There is always a traffic plan for the picnic that takes traffic from M7 off at Portlaoise and cross country on to Abbeyleix-Stradbally rd and into car parks.
