Upgrading Internal Drive (PS3) - Will it work?

I really need to upgrade my ps3 soon.... but I'm wondering what type of hard drives are compatible.

I would love to have an SSD or SSHD, but info for these working with PS3 are scarce. Also, is there a limit on the storage space you can have?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Don't quote me on this but I think practically any SATA device that is 2.5" (standard laptop size) will work.

Somebody in the reviews section mentioned that this particular 1TB drive will work with the PS3 for example:

This is a SSHD (not sure of the model name) - there are videos online of people using SSHD's on ps3 so it should be okay, not 100% sure though.

SSD's do work in the PS3, I think it's the dimensions of the drive is what you have to check though
