If ya can't lift her, don't shift her lad.

Also if you plan on riding her, make sure you can hide her.

    Verb:
1.Move or cause to move from one place to another, esp. over a small distance: "I shift the weight back to the other leg".
2.Change the position of one's body, esp. because one is nervous or uncomfortable: "they were shifting from foot to foot".

The main thing you need to know is if you can't lift her, don't shift her.

If it's like a washing machine, either one or both of you can't kiss properly.

Shift it, shift it in forward
Shift it, shift it in reverse...

Let me I help you shift it.

This was an internet phenomenon in the spring of this year. Very very catchy!

I believe the term originates from the old use of the word shift, which denoted a nightdress or lady's undergarment and it would be equivalent to 1st base in the American vernacular. I am open to correction, because I just made that up. But a shift was a controversial undergarment, the mention of which caused a riot at the first performance of Synge's Playboy of the Western World at the Abbey. You can look that up Jonno!

a shift is a short overall or dress isn't it?

Or a term of employment, possibly 8 hours

So if your buddy says he had a shift with a girl, he's either a cross-dresser or will need some cherry chapstick

Stick your tongue out as far as you possibly can.
Start by licking your "shiftee's" face, preferably the cheek, this will get them riled up.
Proceed to lick their ear. Get right in there, don't be afraid. Keep licking until you've cleared out all the wax, this will increase the taste sensation when you go in for the kill.
Now start licking their lips. If you need to, you can use olive oil for lubrication.
Shove your tongue into their mouth. If you can't reach all their teeth, you need more practice.

    Best of luck.
