Hairdresser cut more than I wanted off my hair. I wanted 2inches, looks like there's about 4 inches gone! I was trying to let it grow but it was in bad condition after holidays and I know it's better toh ave healthy hair than long unhealthy hair but still. Any tips on what I can do to A] Keep it in good condition (it's thick although there's layers in it so that helps, and I dye it) and B] Give it a little nudge in the right direction of GROWING! :) I would love to get extensions but don't know aything about them and think they're a bit too fussy for me!

Some vitamins and minerals can make hair grow faster. I noticed that when I started taking Multibionta once a day my hair got a good bit thicker and grew faster! This is probably due to the biotin in it.

Thanks dee, sorry bold me didn't do a search before I asked my question, will check that thread out right away.
Lia_Lia thanks also, I am currently googling multibionta and may invest if its decently priced.

I am never ever getting my hair cut again :P

Had a look at that thread, so coconut oil and perfectil were mentioned. Perfectil - does this have a cheaper alternative? Anyone know the name of it? What about the coconut oil? I got some LuxeOil at the hairdressers so intend on using this. I don't wash my hair more than 2/3 times per week and I rarely straighten it.

Boots do a skin hair and nails multivitamin type thing which I used for a few years in college, I think it helped with my dry skin but can't really comment re hair growth as my hair always grows pretty quickly!

Well, coconut oil doesnt do anything for my hair, bar making it shiny. As said in other thread, rosemary oil. Costs bout e6 for a little bottle. Dont discount what youve never tried ;-)

Keratin oil is great for keeping hair shiny as well as healthy and there is a little bonus if you apply it with your hands as the oil keeps your nails healthy. :)

I have often heard that regular scalp massage will help hair grow more quickly. It increases blood flow to the scalp and this can help the nutrients reach the hair follicles quickly.

In terms of nutrients, the protein cysteine works very well as does biotin. If you are buying any supplements, make sure there are plenty of these guys.

Lee Stafford has a range of products in Boots, which are especially for hair that doesnt grow past a certain length! I have heard good reviews! here is a link to a video reviewing it!

Jeepers-Im just astonished that the girl in the video-her hair didnt grow that much in a year (to me). Thats 3/4 months growth for me.

Yeah-another poster is right too. Massaging your scalp (oh I love it) is excellent for hair growth. I just use the rosemary oil. Double whammy.

I take Krill oil for healthy hair, nails and skin, it has more benifits than other fish oils. And high strenght zinc tablets to grow hair. There are loads of videos on YouTube f people blogging about taking zinc tables fr faster hair growth.

kelp tablets are brill make your hair grow and keep it shiny.

ensure you take a multi vitamin and are getting enough iron.

I also use this product as its amazing for keeping hair strong:

re the hair tablets I tried those before I found nourikin and viviscal useless. head high (pink ones) are good just dont take on empty stomach, Nuhair is the only one i'd say 100% works.
