Camper vans

I'm not sure if anyone else has found this but particularly this summer when our group are out we have had a few too close calls with camper vans over-taking us. Mostly in the west cork/Kerry region but I expect this occurs nation wide.
They tend to cut in before they are clearly ahead of the bikes and have on a few occasions come perilously close to our front wheels, this is despite us cycling in single file when necessary and allowing plenty of room for overtaking.
We're not sure if it's Irish drivers after renting a campervan and they're not used to the extra dimensions of the vehicle, they're have also been a few with foreign number plates not used to our scanty little b roads, where we mostly cycle and of course driving on the left is an added complication.
So be careful out there, jeez you'd want eyes in the back of your head.
