    Hi Guys,

Thinking of putting a small log cabin in the garden as I work from home and the kids are at a noisy age!

In a previous thread (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055226682&page=4) there is discussion about a thickness of 50mm.

The one I am looking at (I hope its ok to post it! ) http://www.beaverlogcabins.ie/product/log_cabin_special_sahra_4m_x_3_25m_-_garden_log_cabin_timber_cabin/ has a wall thickness of 28mm

Is this going to be way too cold during winter? Should I rule that out all together?
I really can't spend more than about 2-2.5k
Will you be lighting a stove all day? or having an electric heater running all day? if not you'll be cold all winter. you should factor this into your starting price. the link you've posted is as far as i can tell designed to be a potting shed. you'd want to be hands on, and willing to do some insulating to get such a room upto spec or consider a more appropriate option
