These posts call for a sticky

    Nice build!

Should be sticky'd and maybe merged under best value PC's for X Y or Z

The problem with making it a sticky is PC hardware changes so fast it would have to be updated every couple of months!

Yeah it's pointless making them a sticky. That deal on those cheap 7870's won't last too long either.

Great job Bloodbath. I suppose linking to them in signatures is the next best thing to stickes. They could be upgraded regularly by simply editing the posts.

Good idea. You can only edit posts for a certain amount of time though.

    Hi BloodBath,
Ordering my build soon, just wondering if that GPU would run games at higher settings than the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 660 OC?
    Just finalizing the build really...
    Thanks

7870 would be a smidge faster than a regular GTX 660. An overclocked GTX 660 probably beats it though. On the other hand, the 7870 could be overclocked while the 660 is probably at or near the maximum for overclocking. If you were to overclock the 7870 and reach the normally expected speeds, it's likely that you'd get the best performance out of that. On the other hand, nVidia can do things like PhysX, shutter 3D and other things if they're of interest to you.
