I thought this people might find this clip interesting.

Our club attended the RNLI Arklow Maritime Festival last weekend. On the Saturday night we did a demonstration of shooting fire arrows. For safety reasons we shot into the river. We also held a 'have-a-go' session on Sunday and had an archery demonstration on the beach.

We hope to do something there again next year.

The main purpose in posting is just to show the fire arrows as it's not something I've come across before and I think it's a little unusual.

The ultimate purpose of debate is not to produce consensus. It's to promote critical thinking.

Great to see so many recurve bows in use. I've been an archer since I was eleven and I'm now sixty-seven, but I really can't get my head around the compound bow........
