    Hi all,
Anybody know of any compact groupset which also has 11 gears on the rear cassette? i.e a compact with 22 gears?
I know the knew SRAM one's do, but just trying to find if there's already something out there?
    Cheers

Ultegra 6800 can be had in compact 11 speed. Expensive though!

Thanks. I'm looking to get a decent new bike in the next month or so, so was hoping to get something that'll be in a sale, but I'd preferably like a compact with 22 gears

There are probably cheaper alternatives, that's just the one that's on my mind as I'm in the same boat, looking at upgrading to a better bike over the next few months, and also looking at compact cranks.

If it's any help, I've been looking at Rose bikes in Germany. They're a mail order company, so no test riding unless you're near their base of operations, but their prices are very good compared to what you'll pick up in a shop here (obviously potential hassle if you need to send anything back to them).

Rose is exactly what I've been looking at! I've been on to them and I'll only be able to put the new SRAM force group set on their existing / 2013 bikes, which I know will be on sale soon...or paying full whack for their new / 2014 model bikes

All the 11 speed groupsets from Shimano, Sram and Campagnolo are still in their 1st generation, so they won't be discounted. The pro cyclists using Sram equipment are still running 10 speed! 11 speed is only available on the topmost groupsets, so the cheapest 11 speed bikes for sale will be ~€3k for something with Campagnolo Athena.

Campag have had 11 speed for some time now.

Do you want just the groupset (Athena for 658) or a whole bike?

Any reason you want 11 speed? I have both 10 and 11 and really it makes bugger all difference.

Like Dirk, I have both 10 and 11 speed. The extra gear is the 11t. How often is it used? Not very often.

I'd just like to have that extra gear for high speed which I'd not have on a compact - so I'm thinking a compact would be good for hills etc. but then the extra gear (s) would be there for going at speed.
I'm not really looking to just get the group set, I'm keeping an eye for something that'll be in the sale's coming up (where the 2013 model bikes will be reduced) but already with a compact/22 gears on.
I like the look of that Canyon! Might see if there's something similar with a carbon frame
