DM500s no signal being received CS

Hi guys, i have a DM500s. the dish is perfectly aligned, the channel lists are fully up to date and all the settings are bang on. however for the past few months i havent been getting signal from certain channels. the box is saying 'no signal being received' and that the snr is lower than 60%. at first i thought the tuners were going but i checked with an installer who swapped me over onto a new box but it was still the same. he has also checked at the other end to make sure everything is setup right from the srvr. the only conclusion he could come to was that we run a new cable cause it might be that...however he has not been available to do this yet as he is busy with work (good complaint for him tho so i dont mind that). i took the box to a different dish and it was still the same so i doubt it can be the cable. anyone suffer anything like this or have any ideas that may help? cheers guys!

    Tread very carefully here..

Even your subject line is pushing what's not allowed to be discussed here. ;)

Loads of channels have changed transponders in the last while due to Sky reducing costs and / or preparing to launch red button in HD (well that's my hope!).

Thread carefully on what your saying here. The fault appears to be dish or box and the rest shouldn't be discussed here anyway! Do a full rescan and go from there.

Go onto king of sat and get new freq, as has been said already, loads of channels have swapped around lately.

cheers for the replies guys, i dont really no the ins and outs of freqs and stuff i purchased preprogrammed. all i no is my sky news, bbc 3 and 4. itvs, setanta and espn have all stopped and show no signal. i assume the installer would have checked for new freqs tho but ill check in with him anyways.
