    Assuming the standard weigh of 1,1,2,2,2 and five modules a semester that is a total of 120 credits.

    You have already done 60 credits with a QCA of 2.3
    60*2.3 = 138 QCS

    You will do 120 credits with a goal QCA of 2.65
    120*2.65 = 318 QCS

    318-138 = 180 QCS required in 4th year with 60 credits in that year
    180/60 = 3

    QCA of 3 is required in 4th year to achieve your goal of QCA 2.65 overall
    That a B2 average grade

    Assuming 2nd and 3rd year are worth 25% and 4th year is 50%.

    I think a 2:1 is 2.6.

    (2.3 + x)/2 = 2.6

    x = 2.9

    I have been looking for this information for ages. Have almost the exact same QCA as the OP. To get 2.9 is basically getting a B in everything for the year.
    Is a 2:1 only a dream with a qca of 2.3?

    Its possible but you need to A1 average. If you have an A2 average you'll have a QCA of 2.95 which might help you get a 2.1

    Thats not going to happen in reality. Im going to get a C in french each semester so I guess that means I will need an A in something to stay above 2.6

    Quick question. My QCA stands at 3.13 and that will be updated with two I grade results of B1 and a B3.
    If someone doesn't mind working it out, what will my QCA stand at then and what will that leave me with degree wise?

    That depends, what year are you in?

    Ok and what were the results of your 10 exams in 2nd year and which ones were being switched to I grades?

    As this is I grade I assume that you never got awarded the credited for those modules. So the 3.13 was marked of of 24 credit instead of 30

    3.13*24 = 75.12 QCS

    B1 = 3.2 QCA and B3 = 2.8 QCA.
    As your in second year credit for each are 3
    3.2*3 + 2.8*3 = 18 QCA

    Add the two QCS together gives you a total QCS of 93.12
    Total credits are now 30
    so your QCA is 93.12/30 = 3.104.

    If the 30 was awarded when calculating the original QCA.
    3.13*30 = 93.9
    +18 = 111.9
    /30 = 3.73 QCA
