Lenovo white screen

Hi there have a lenovo g550 that was dropped. Since then it has a white screen on boot up changed screen and inverter cable still the same thing but it will display on an external monitor. Any ideas what could be causing this?

damage to the screen connections on the motherboard, check them to see if they're loose?

Nope checked them at a complete loss to what is causing it.
