can anyone help me pls bought a 01 honda civic recently and theres only 1 worn key with it so am trying to set up the keyless entry to save using the key in the door have been told by someone who checked with honda using my vin that there is a keyless entry unit factory fitted to my car but have had no luck coding the 2…

That would only be a later model civic that would run its can-system through the cars stereo .
You'd probably be cheaper just to put a brand new remote central locking kit on it .
Usually cost about €100-€120 and comes with 2 new fobs .

I don't think your car ran a can system, what method did you use to try pair the new fobs, was it ignition on and off with doors closed whilst pressing the fob x amount of times?
