BOVRIL STOCK CUBES

    does anybody know where you can get bovril stock cubes in dublin?? iv looked everywhere for them and cant seem to find them,they're for my nanny , she use to use them all the time but they stopped selling them in ireland i think

    Have you tried Tesco? Out of curiosity I tried Tesco.ie and they have them €1.59 for a pack. If your local Tesco doesn't have them, phone around a few branches and I'm sure one of them will have them.

    You can just use the jar either, it's the same thing just the stock cubes are dried.

    A heaped teaspoon will be roughly the same as a cube.


    For a while it was being made with yeast extract so it was great for using to make veggie dishes more "meaty" tasting but they have gone back to using meat extracts so it's not veggie friendly anymore.
