The 9/11 "surfer"

More4 showed a documentary this evening (repeat) about Pasquale Buzzelli, a Port Authority engineer who "rode a blizzard of falling debris from a 22nd-floor World Trade Center stairwell and somehow survived" after the north tower collapsed.

The story was picked up by the media in the early hours after the WTC atrocity, got legs for a while and then became distorted to the point where it was dismissed as a myth.

The documentary tells the real story.

I don't believe this remarkable story has been mentioned on Boards, and doesn't seem to have received much media attention in Ireland, even though one of the firefighters who found him, and corroborated his account, is originally from Mayo.
