we have only had a few stocks bulls only been in sucklers a while.

curretn lim bull cost over 3K was when prices were high last spring (should have bought a young bull the previous autunm but you live and learn) doubth we'll make much back on him when his times comes but we have been very happy with, he bull 40 cows last summer and we have had very little problems with calvimg have only had the jack out about 4 times. great lookign calves and he is quite.

the predecessor was also a lim bought him for €1200 had him for 3 seasons and he made €1400 in the factory, was quite and threw great calves but we had a few issues with some of the cows so used a scrub bull on heifers.

we had a few other before them only had them for a season or 2 most in and around what we paid for them maybe a 100-200 or so less then what we paid

No more than suckler cows, the money a stock bull makes in the factory should be the icing on the cake, not the cake itself. It's the quality of the buns he has put in the ovens that really counts!
