    Need a little help

I'm planning putting in forms for interviews for PLC and most of the colleges have said that you need two references. The problem I have is I can only got one Reference(from a college course I just finished) as the other workplace I've worked in has closed down and I can't get in contact with the employer.

Will it go agaisn't me(I've yet to put the forms out yet cause of this) if I went to my interviews with only one reference?

I have went to an interview with just the one reference. They said it was ok as long as I could get another one from somewhere. I then got one from my previous school from the secretary that said I had attended and it was enough. (It was during the summer, so none of the teachers were available.)
They are not that strict in PLC colleges usually as they want to fill up all of the places.
I didn't apply to a course for years as I didn't meet the maths entry requirement. I eventualy did apply when I turned 23 and it turned out that they would have taken me. There was only about one person in the whole class that had a good grade in LC maths.
