Calving cameras

I need to get a calving camera in. i live about three miles from the yard. the home place is about 200 yards from the calving shed and reception is muck around there.
Also i'm all spent out at the moment and need to put this in on a budget.
What are my options. realistically i need to hook it up to my phone but with bad reception around the yard what can i do.
any info, dos or donts and prices would be great thanks.

Hi Chip,

There's a monster thread from six months ago that has all the information you need. No point trying to link to the farm house as the broadband connection upload speed would be too slow. You're only chance is to get a pair of wireless bridges and hope you can get some form of line of sight between the shed and your house. Only really possible if you're either side of a valley or there's no trees in the way. Less than 200 quid would get you the wireless bridge side of it. Had a link at work a few years ago crossing a city, but this was off 2 four story buildings.

done what you were saying in spring had to go sat broadband with cameras and instal n them ect cost around 2k worth it i think but all depends on each persons situation
