Primary school in carlow

    Hi, everyone. Before anything else, i would like to thank you for taking time to read and answer my post. My query is about primary school in Carlow. I just got a job in County Carlow and will start soon. I have a wee girl that will be starting junior infant this september. She's already enrolled in where we lived now but due to my new job i need her to be enrolled in carlow. Would anyone of you know what are best chances of getting her enrolled at this late stage and which school would accept? If you can recommend a good school too. Pls advise and thanks again!

    Educate together in Carlow town is a good school and will soon be moving to a new purpose built building . They possibly still have some places in junior infants- I don't know for sure, but it is not going to be easy to find a place at this stage. Check them out here- they probably have an enrolement form on their website. http://www.carloweducatetogether.ie/

    Do you want single sex or mixed? What ethos ? I know the spaces for the Gaelscoil were allocated in early Spring and that there is a massive waiting list . Do you know what area you will be living in, roughly?
