    Any tyre experts on here??

I am looking for a set of 13.6 R24 tyres second hand.

I see ones that are 340/85 R24... what's the difference and how come they are expressed differently?

    Thanks

    Muckit

340 is the width of the tyre and 85 is the height of the tyre. divide 340 by 25 to get back to imperial. 85's would be tall tyres, 65's would be low profile which affect the footprint of the tyres

Which is best a high wall or low profile bob? or is it horses for courses? From my car show days it was the lower the profile the better, but that rule may not hold true in this scenario! ha!

Low profile if you can but make sure it suits the rim and also the 4wd ratio of your tractor (assuming it is a 4wd you mean here given that size!)
