    Hey All,

So, ive made the decision that im going to propose to my better half on a particular event in about 3 weeks. Its long overdue by me at this stage!

Now, two things, firstly, she doesnt wear rings so I havent a clue about ring sizes. Secondly, I am looking for advice on a jewellers in the west of ireland. My budget is less that 2k. I know ive left this very late, and i found a nice ring in the states but wont have it on time...

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Worried.

If she doesn't wear rings I would really suggest you don't buy the ring without her. Propose without it, or with another cheap ring (I don't like this idea personally but it seems popular), but please don't spend 2k on a ring that she then may not like at all.

Should clarify, I know exactly what she wants in a engagement ring. It has been discussed and shown in passing over time... Just a matter of getting the right size. But regardless of that, can you recommend anywhere good in the west?

If that's the case, rings can be resized without too much difficulty.

I got a fancy ring from M&S for about €40 and proposed with that (had other ring hidden downstairs for later),
A lot of women love the idea of picking out their own ring and having a pampered day out doing it, what would she rather
A-Having the chance to pick out her own dream ring with big proposal, no risk
B-You picking the ring and getting it right, and getting few extra brownie points
C-You picking the ring and getting it wrong/ even slightly and her stuck wearing that ring forever?
