The routing was changed a while ago to try compete more with Wexfordbus on speed. It still doesn't.

The only remaining Dublin-bound route 2s that serve St.Vincent's, Nutley Lane are the 07.50, 09.50 and 10.50 ex Gorey.

One of the papers (forget whether the Wicklow People or Wexford People) carried a piece around 6 weeks ago saying that changes to route 2 were on the cards but nothing has changed as yet.

AFAIR that was about the reinstatement of some of the stops in Arklow plus Jack Whites and Barndarrig, don't think there are any plans to increase the frequency of services to St. Vincent's.
OP the routing of the no.2 was changed about a year ago to operate via Kildare St/ Dawson St.. Leeson St. to Donnybrook which was another disastrous decision by the route planners in BE, the reason supposedly, was to cut out the bottleneck at Nutley Lane but instead it now has to negotiate Burgh Quay, College Green, Nassau St and Donnybrook Village
In addition to the inbound services mentioned above there are two outbound services at 15.40 and 18.40 which serve St. Vincents.

Only certain services serve the hospital, but only one of them is northbound. http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1360752672-002.pdf She could have used route 47 from UCD to St. Vincents or used the train to Sydney Parade.

Ah now Victor - you should take more care reading a timetable!!! ;-)

Three route 2 services operate via St Vincent's Monday/Saturday in either direction and only on Sundays is it one northbound and two southbound.

As do the three route 5 services that use the N11 (obviously the Tallaght/Blessington ones don't)

So, for clarity, the following buses from Gorey serve St Vincent's Hospital:
    07:50, 08:20, 09:50, 10:50, 12:15, 14:40

From Dublin, the following departures from Busaras operate via St Vincent's Hospital:
    11:30, 14:30, 15:30, 16:00, 18:00, 18:30

Route 5 buses used to serve St. Vincent's but since the end of last September no longer do so. The footnote ("B") stating they serve the hospital was amended at the end of last September to reflect this.

Unsure if route 384 serves Nutley Lane.

There are many places where buses stop still not in the Journey Planners.
