Radio or TV?

In this day and age, with digital radio and on-demand TV, if you had one choice, would you have TV or radio in your home?

I would choose a radio. Ever since I was a young lad, I always had a radio on in my room. No matter where I am these days, I have a radio on. In work, on the bike, in the car. The only time I don't have the radio on is when I'm swimming, and I have looked into that!

If there was anything you wanted to watch, you could just watch it online.

Mods; sorry if I put this in the wrong thread!

I'd choose the radio too, if I had. I don't watch 'telly' but do love boxsets and movies, but I honestly think I coudl give it up if I had to (and maybe head to the cinema now and then!). The radio is always on in my flat and with the amount of great stations youre spolit for choice.

Hold on - what are you asking? Are you asking about any TV at all, no matter how they're watched (online, cable, etc) or just those shows that are broadcast via standard means? Because you say:
you could just watch it online.

Anyway, TV regardless for me. Never listened to radio at any point in my life! And asking this on the Television forum might mean some biased answers..

    I agree with ioxy.

If you can still watch TV online then I think your question is a bit redundant.

However I'll go for the TV. I have a freeview Sky box which has over 50 radio stations available anyway including the BBC ones, the RTE ones and Newstalk too.
