I've been referred to a pain management specialist for an epidural for a back injury. I rang to tell them that I am pregnant (found out just after I got my appointment) and to ask if I would still be given the pain injection. The secretary said she would ask the doctor but when I rang back for an answer, she was still very vague and unsure, she said that basically I would find out on the day. However, the appointment will cost me €160 that I can ill afford so I'd like to be sure that I will actually get something for my money. Has anyone got one of these injections while pregnant?
