1960's Dublin City film location

Judgement Day

I'm not in the City much these days otherwise I would track down this location myself. It's a scene from the obscure German TV film "Das Schwarze Schaf" (The Black Sheep) that was partially shot in Dublin in 1959/60.



Exact location please and thanks in advance.

This may be of help - here's a YouTube clip including the point in the movie that the above photo was taken (it starts around 2.30)...this scene lasts only for a couple of moments but it may be enough to help somebody work out the location.

The church is on Mountjoy Street in Dublin 1. Not sure of the reverse view.

Thanks for all the help folks! Still a bit confusing but looking at the attached 25" map from the OSI and allowing for a lot of urban decay and demolition between the date of the map and the movie - is this correct?

Most of the butchering of the city took place from the mid-60's onwards - had the city as it was remained, we'd have a real gem now.
