I was looking at the aldi pannier for my Trek 1.1 but I'm unsure if it will fit or not. My bike has the eyelets above the brakes but just from looking at the pannier the arms appear wider than my frame. Is this normal and can I just apply pressure to line them up?

Has anyone else got these on a similar bike?

Could you use some washers to act as spacers?

The distance looks more than that tbh. It looks nearly an inch either side.

Right so I bought it anyway and the space between the arms is adjustable so it fits. One of the 3 support arms doesn't line up on the left side but I'll get over that. For 12euro I'm happy enough.

I got one of these recently. Used it as a front carrier on bike so I can confirm its adjustable and seems to be good quality. Only 4 of 6 uprights are alligned but I can live with that for mo. Agree its good value as well
