Altenator Prob?

    Hi All,

    Have a 05 Renault Scenic, in the past week my car was struggling to start on 2/3 occasions, say every 2nd/3rd day, mainly in morning. I've had the battery replaced back in March so it can't be that, but sounds similar to battery not turning over, could it be an altenator prob?

    Any help would be welcome?

    It could be either battery or alternator
    Without reading the charge voltage it would be very difficult to tell.

    The place you bought the battery might test the battery for free

    If you can borrow a cheap volt meter it should read over 13.6 volts when charging.
