Ive being looking at bringing a car over from the UK for a while and have my heart set on an A5. Im thinking of purchasing off cargiant? any opinions on the cars below? or for a first time buyer from the UK?

    Hi OP

Just imported an A5 sportback for the mrs in the last few months . Was going to bring it in from UK as the price up North seemed to be a few grand more expensive BUT i rang an Audi dealer towards end of month (sales targets and all that!) and got it for same price as UK without having to travel across the water. Saved about 6K based on equivalent model/year/spec from Audi Dublin. My advice would be ring a few dealers up north , they will always do a deal and you will save hassle of going to Uk

    Good luck

cheers shooter69, i noticed there seems to a couple of grand at least in the diff between the prices. Feel bad bringing my money abroad but the value is outstanding in the UK.

Just be aware that UK A5s have lower standard spec than Irish ones. However UK models tend to have more extras on them.
