Anybody know if the wreck of the Astrid in Kinsale is possible to shoot?
Is there a way down the cliff closer to the wreck?

why not get a group of people and go out in a boat ...could be cheap enough once numbers are there.

as the wreck has already been looted (the wheel and bell disappeared from it within days of it sinking), it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that hiring a boat to photograph it may be met with suspicion.

Not sure how good your shots would be having to stay 200m out
The Navy have mounted a 200m exclusion zone around the wreck which is now the focus of a major Marine Casualty Investigation Board (MCIB) report.
