    Just wondering will the above mudguards fit 700x28c?

    I couldn't fit them on 25c Gatorskins on a Canyon Roadlite 7

    not enough clearance under the back brake.

    Depends on the bike (type of brakes), but I would not put them over 28mm tyres.

    I guess you don't have mudguard eyelets as you're looking at crud-catchers but seeing as you have room for 28mm tires, maybe you do...

    Have you seen http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/sks-chromoplastic-mudguards/rp-prod25793

    The smallest ones cover 20 to 28mm tires. I've put a pair on my Ridley Tempo. I did need a http://problemsolversbike.com/products/sheldon_fender_nuts as I have caliper brakes and wanted them the right side of the fork for better coverage.
