help with triple monitor eyefinity setup

    Back again looking for some help with a triple monitor set up.graphic card is a powercolor pcs+ 3gb hd 7950 with the following 4 outputs
    1 x dl dvi, 1 x hdmi and 2 x mini display port.
    Currently have LG 22ea53 monitors (1920x1080) x 2 with a third in the not so distant future. These have the following outputs vga, dvi and hdmi.
    Wondering which is the best setup to follow all hdmi (hdmi plus 2 mini dp adaptors to hdmi) or dvi (dvi plus 2 mini dp adaptors to dvi).
    Also do i need passive or active adaptors to run the above.
    Any advice welcome

    I think even less of the HDMI adapters are active. Anyway, you don't need all of the monitors to have the same input. A DP->VGA adapter would probably work alright, but not something that you'd really want to do as the picture probably won't be as good as a digital cable.

    I would go with DVI + HDMI + (DP -> DVI)
