I'm repeating one of my two first arts modules tomorrow morning and beginning to panic quite a bit. I failed the exam at Christmas and seeing as we haven't had a class in so long I'm kind of worried ill do even worse than last time. At Christmas i got 38 so i'd be valid for compensation, but was wondering if I repeat the exam tomorrow and do worse than Christmas would it still be possible to compensate, or would my new mark override the old one in a way? Thanks for any help you could give. :)

If you were valid for compensation the first time it would have applied itself and you wouldn't have needed to repeat. I know Arts has some strange compensation rules, depending on your course, so 35% does not necessary mean you're eligible for compensation. Some modules require an outright 40%.
So essentially, if you do worse than last time, you'll likely have to repeat the year.

Sorry i shoulda have said the reason i cant compensate is that my other repeat is in the same subject.i just feel more confident about the other one. im just gonna go for it anyway to see how i do.Thanks for the response.
