We are looking for a small alternative venue for wedding in the Lough Derg , Limerick /tipp / Clare area for less than forty guests.
We have looked at the mustard seed and while that may be it, we are looking if there is an equivalent, or alternative in the area as I am not from the area.

Don't know what your budget is but have a look at lisheen castle near Thurles. Heard really good things about it from a couple who had their wedding there. Good luck with it :-)

Went to a wedding here a few years ago , if its small intimate and secluded ur looking for it might fit the bill , dinner was served in a marquee in the lawn , the food was only ok but maybe that was me that was wrong and it didn't suit my taste , most of the guests stayed in a hotel and Nenagh and were bussed back and forth

I know of people who've had their reception (similar size) at the Cherry Tree in Killaloe/Ballina.
