Question on exam repeats?

Im currently a Year 1 student studying business and also doing repeats.
The CA (Continous Assesment) is what has let me down last year and caused me to fail exams.
What I need to know is if the repeat exams will take into account the CA results from last semester or will the results for the repeats be 100% down to what I do on the day of the exam?
    Thanks

100% just for the exam on the day. Doesn't take previous CA into consideration.
