    Looks like an OK deal.

    Kit Contains:

    •Gold Class Wash - 473ml - good shampoo
    •Quik Detailer - 250ml - good quick detailer / lube
•Clay Bar - 25g - jezz thats a poxy clay bar...that is TINY, you wont do a car with it, unless you've done a fantastic job de-taring it
•Ultimate Compound - 300ml - no experience with it...someone will be along to update
•Gold Class Carnauba Plus Liquid 175ml - no experience with it...someone will be along to update
    •Supreme Shine Microfibres x 2 - look average enough
•Soft Foam Applicator Pads - x 2 - dont think they're as soft as your paintwork would like them to be

Thats my feedback....but then Im a bit OTT as some will agree! ;)

I was very impressed by ultimate compound. I used it by hand on my levin. Before using it the paint was very flat and there was almost no reflection (hard to get reflections on white anyway). I spent about 25 hours doing it though and used just over a bottle.

EDIT: Forgot to say that IMO the kit is very good value :)

Is this good stuff to get you started ?

What else would be good to have to do a full detail on the car.

I have used the Gold Class Liquid Wax, its the older one I have, before the 'Carnauba Plus' was added. I really like the look this wax gives, leaves a lovely gloss. From what i gather it contains oils which gives the gloss and is almost like a glaze/wax combo. Only fault I have with is durability, it doesnt last very long, 4 weeks at most id say. Now this new formula 'carnauba plus' may very well solve the durability issue.

The Meguairs applicator pads are very good IMO, they are much much softer than those cheap yellow pads that come from China.

I think this would be a great package to get you started on the road to detailing. As for what else you would need for a detail, well the list is endless! But I think if you added a tar remover and a tri-foam applicator to apply the Ultimate Compound then you would have plenty there to make an excellent job on a car.
