Not sure what the banks are like these days with regards to deposits to gambling sites so I'd rather they didn't know I was depositing to Betfair. If I add money to my account via Paypal, will they know that the recipient is Betfair? Or is there a better alternative?

I've asked a few people and they think that it says PAYPAL* BETFAIR if I deposit that way. Is there anyone out there that has actually deposited this way? :D

Try the Betfair Forum, someone on there should be able to help you.

Once you deposit from your bank to Paypal as far as I know it just shows up as Paypal on your account. What you do with your money once it goes into Paypal it's none of the bank's business

Thanks but I don't have it currently set up to transfer from my bank a/c to Paypal. Also want to use my credit card!

I've just stumbled across this http://payments.betfair.com/eireland_eur_LBT.htm

Seems like a way of depositing with cash? Don't have an Ulster Bank a/c though but could just fill out a lodgement slip?
