I started my current job on 12th Nov 2012.

I have accepted another position and given resignation at my current job on 30th July 2013.

I'm entitled to 24 holidays per year and that is written in my contract.

I have taken 13 holiday this year.

Question, Do I get any holiday pay?

    Thanks in advance

I would break it down like this

    24 / 12 = 2 holidays earned per month

You have worked 9 1/2 months (assuming you gave 1 months notice on 30th July and finish on august 30th)

    9.5 * 2 = 19 you've taken 13 so technically you should be owed 6 days

    Thanks for you reply.

I gave 4 weeks notice on 30th July so last day would be 26th Aug.
Holiday year starts Jan and ends Dec.
I have taken 13 this year.
How did you calculate 9 1/2?

9 full months plus half a month

If your calender year goes from Jan to Dec you may need to check if you were allowed carry over holidays from last year, if you were not you may only be entitled from Jan till the end of Aug so that would be 8 x 2 which is 16 days so you would only get 3 days back. I think someone in HR should be able to answer your question best though!
