Hi all, sorry to drag up this thread. I figured this would be better than creating a new one.

I'm just inquiring really about a few things.

I studied German and History this year (just gone) and have to repeat three german modules. I've been thinking whether I'll be able for it in third year (risk getting a lousy degree) or should I repeat second year and and swap German for the other module from first year which I dropped.

If I were to do this I would hate to ask my parents for another 2.5k. What I want to know is, if I were to repeat second year and drop german and take on a my other subject instead, could i repeat externally? Or is that only for modules that you have attempted and failed.

I'll get in touch with the relevant offices during one of the days I have an exam in august, but just looking for a heads up now if anyone knows anything.

I'm not sure about language subjects, but you should really call the office on Monday morning rather than waiting till you actually sit the repeat. Can relieve a lot of stress before your exams :)
