For awhile now ive been struggling with the notion of life. The thoughts of a mortgage etc really stresses me out. Currently in college studying computing, in my field of work I will never be able to stop learning, constantly will keep having to update my skill set to survive in years to come, its all just very daunting.

What keeps everyone going, what makes you get out of bed in the morning?

The life of a alco seems pretty appealing and stress free at the moment, and I always thought to myself, if i dont make it by 40, ill just drop out of society haha.

So what gives you that kick up the arse to keep going?

I rigure I've only been alive for .0000000001 % of the existence of the earth. I'm going to take as much advantage of it as I can, that motivates me.

I was quite overweight during school years and I wasn't very happy, being that big was a very unpleasant experience and not having to experience that again is all the motivation I need.

If I'm honest I would say money and sex.

Dishonest I'd say helping others and being a better person

I recently started work where I'm helping others, I find great satisfaction in it and would love it to continue. Easy to get up knowing I'm helping others.

Have to get up early to walk our dog. Really don't feel like it on dark November days, but does the soul good...that's my motivation sorted for the day ahead!

The only thing that motivates me for work Is the monthly paycheque and getting through days so I am closer to weekends and holidays, lately my job has gotten so stressful and unappreciative that I don't even want to progress any further in that company (things could ease up and my opinion change but that's how it has been for months now)

As for everyday life outside of work. Well cycling and trying to constantly progress in that is my main motivation to cycle in the harshest weather and long gruelling distances

I work to fund my cycling habit and prepare myself for any events or races, if I didn't have cycling realistically apart from my family and small core group of friends I wouldn't ever get out of bed

love and money, I don't have a lot of either in my life at the moment, but one day i might have both thats what motivates me.

otherwise its things like being able to return home and be welcomed by my family and friends.

browsing around the grafton area in dublin, going for cosy pints in mother reillys, going out ona surfboard and the excilleration that comes with it, my job too.

    My OH motivates me.
Take for instance yesterday at 10 o clock I was watching sports news on SKY when she announced that the neighbors were getting ready to cut the lawn and for me to get off my lazy ass and cut ours.
When I had that done she then got me to plant some summer bedding she had left over.
Then there were some weeds that had to be removed from the flower be before I did that and got a sore hand when I went to remove a thistle.
    But I kept at it.
    Next weekend its painting.

I'm the least motivated person ever, it's disgusting. I'm impressed by nothing and encouraged by less.
