Squatters Jeans

Hope it's ok to post this here, did a search but didn't find anything useful.

Anyone who squats recommend a place to get some nice jeans? It's a bit mad for me at this stage. I used to be able to fit into straight cut, it was just that skinny/slim fits were off limits, but now I can't fit into anything that isn't a loose fit, and it seems all loose cuts are designed with far less effort than other cuts.

Went Liffey Valley the other day and looked everywhere, Jack&Jones, Burton (shops normally distant from only skinny cuts), Tommy Hilfinger, Timberland, couldn't find anything. I ended up getting a pair in Next that fit well but the style is completely plain, I'd like to have a pair that look more smart and stylish.
I've a 33 inch waist so usually a 32/34 fits fine in the waist for jeans, but can't find any that get past my thighs lately. If I go up to a 36 usually get on me but are too loose in the waist/crotch area.

Any place to get jeans which offer more give in the thigh? Thanks

relaxed fit is the closest your gonna get in your waist size, there usually wider around legs/glutes

Havr the same problem, usually get "workware fit" that look good. Recently picked up a pair of j&j vintage that fit great. Everywhere seems to be just selling skinny jeans, even on skinny blokes they look rediculous and bot to mention uncomfortable...

Similar issue but I find the jeans from Debenhams (john rocha) seem to fit me best.

When you say J&J Vintage you mean Jack&Jones yeah? I think I actually tried on the exact same pair hahah, they fit me too but I didn't get them cos they looked identical to the jeans I've already got and the €70 price tag wasn't too enticing. Starting to realise beggars can't be choosers though at this stage... :pac:

Thanks, will check it out. Heard some Levi cuts can be good too, gonna check out the department stores this weekend and see what they're like.

Will report back if anything is good.

Honestly the best solution I found is trimming down the bf%, will give you lot more options even if skinny jeans are still out of the equation.

Been wanting to reply to this for ages,
A couple of options are, buy a bigger waist size and wear a belt! or add an extra button!!
Ladies jeans are great (seriously) they are stretchier and wider on hips and thighs, obviously you'll be on the upper end of the size scale and go for a long fit.

Have a look on the American Eagle website they do a fit called 'relaxed straight' that are pretty roomy. They are pretty plain jeans but they are really nice denim and they have a good few colour options, only around €25 plus delivery. At that price they'd be worth a try.

    This.

I somehow still comfortably fit into 34 jeans at 90kg and squatting a bit of weight. I'd guess most are just carrying too much body fat.

Levis 562 or 569 fit pretty loose on the thigh while not leaving you with a massive amount of material around your waist.
American Eagles have original boot cut and relaxed boot cut which have a 18.5" and 19.5" leg opening respectively, I find those comfortable also.

Fitted slim/tailored slim/carrot in shops has always worked well for me.

The gold standard is jeans with a small percentage of an elastic material.

As for suit trousers, I'd get them tailored if you are consistent at your body comp.

Burton usually work for me, but it's hard to get something that fits both waist and legs.

    Hah...

Man, any kind of slim fit is just not on the table unfortunately.
I must measure them but I mean most loose fits either don't fit or get 'stuck' around the knee/lower quad. And if I do get them to fit in the thighs I've usually gone up a size or two and have a huge waist on them.

Got a pair of these in the States a few years ago and fit very well, nice and roomy in the legs. However I've tried most shops for them here since and they're not stocked in Ireland.
