Suitable dress for a wedding?

It's a lovely dress, but I think it may be a little bit formal for a wedding to be honest. Unless it's a black tie wedding?

Nope not black tie but a good friends wedding! Looking for a long dress to hide my legs!! Was kinda worried about the color too...!

    Thanks for the reply!

    Hey there OP,
It's totally gorgeous, I think you should definitely wear it. A lot women wear long dresses at weddings and if you are self conscious about showing your legs, I'd say go for it.

I think maybe it's just because it's chiffon that it's a bit more formal. If you're looking for a long dress, you could still go go that, but maybe in a different material.

I know a lot of the long dresses are more casual maxi dresses, but there are some dressier ones too.

What about something like this maybe?

I love it. You could get a shawl the same colour as the dark colours on the dress.

It's lovely OP. personally I wouldn't like the wallis dress... It's too casual for me.

I think it looks fab OP. If you like it and would be comfortable in it, you should go for it.

I've been to a few weddings this summer and plenty of women were wearing maxi dresses.

I love it, a break from the usual types of maxi dresses. Definitely would go for it :)

To me, it's more of an evening formal dress, than a wedding dress. Having said that, go with your heart.

    I love the dress.

What do you plan to do with your hair?
