Does anyone know how to disable the dryer on a washer/dryer?...

sounds like you don't want the dryer being used so disconnect the heater if you have the ability to do so, otherwise stay clear of it and get an engineer to do it.

Check the manual, maybe there is a function that allows you to stop after the final spin.
