    Horay!!!

As a regular commuter of that road I am sick and tired of the way it was reduced to 80kmh, thus everyone else would cringe and dawdle during rush hour.

I hope it returns to 100kmh, the way it should be :)

The reduction of the N3 to 80 km/h was a farce (with the exception of the stretch leading into Kells before the M3 link road roundabout) and purely a cynical way to drive traffic onto the motorway which failed anyway - but not to worry as the deal done with the government at the time means that the toll operator will be paid the shortfall from the public purse anyway.

Although it would be nice if they reinstated it as a 100 km/h road I have a feeling this is just Meath CoCo making a mess of things again. Everyone still refers to the road as the N3 anyway so it's probably in recognition of that rather than a proper reclassification.

Would be nice to be wrong though

What a joke. After years driving it I nearly got lost on it a while back. They've made it so difficult to stay on that road.

    And another thing !

    I took the N3 - N2 link yesterday

    NINE FECKING ROUNDABOUTS!!!!!

I live right beside that. It's a fricking joke. Most of those 9 roundabouts have just the 2 exits with 2 blank ones fitted "just in case". It's ridiculous. Road is almost always empty.

And it's ten if you continue to the N2 and not the M2 !!!!!!!!!

They're obsessed with roundabouts up that way alright :( It's the same if you head out from Blanch at Power City to Clonee. Roundabouts everywhere!
