Suggestions for active/adventure/outdoorsy holiday in Europe

Hey, so myself and two other guys (all 28) wanna go on a nice sunny week-long (7 nghts maybe) holiday somewhere, but we'd like somewhere with lots of adventure-type activities closeby like quad biking, mountain biking, paragliding, scuba diving, jet skiing, anything fun and exciting like that...

I'm looking for any location suggestions, or recommendations. I know just about every tourist town in Spain has these sorts of activities, but I have no idea where the "best of the best" might be.

We don't care where it is, but closer to Ireland the better, but that doesn't really matter. Sunny climate a bonus.

We'd consider going through some agency to sort it all for us if that was an option.

Basically we want a typical sunny holiday but instead of sight-seeing or sitting around on sunbeds, we want to do fun stuff... So, any ideas?

    Greatly appreciate the help!!

All my breaks and holiers are always activity breaks, but not to the sun. I'd be more into Winter Sports and Activities involving skiing; moon-light sledding; snow-boarding; parachute jumps overlooking glaciated surroundings etc etc.

If you would prefer a change from the sunnier climbs, then let me know.

    Thanks,

Hey, sure, I'd love to know more...I've never actually ski'd properly before.

Zell am See in Austria - http://www.zellamsee-kaprun.com/en.

In summer there's all sorts of activities - rafting, canyoning, summer skiing, high rope gardens, paragliding (lots of that), sailing, mountain walking/climbing. Not sure about scuba diving, but I'm sure you could give it a shot as there's a lake there. The weather is mostly excellent - normally hot weather like we had in June/July with the occasional afternoon thunder storm to clear the air.

You could certainly do an organised activity each day for 7 days and not get bored. There are loads of trains from Munich and you can fly either to Munich or Memmingen.

We were there earlier this Summer and had a ball.

I brought some of the lads over to the Midlothian Centre in Edinburgh earlier this year; kept bragging about their better skiing skills but alas, was not to be :)

If you can visit here; I think it's great for brushing up on ski skills before taking to be real slopes in Switzerland where I would go.

One fantastic forum I cannot recommend enough is our Winter Sports forum right here though.
