Took a tumble yesterday morning coming down from Sally Gap, thankfully I'm in one piece bar a few cuts and scrapes but my bike looks a lot worse worse for wear.

I will post up some pictures later but there is three pretty significant dents in the top tube. Frame is an aluminium audacio?

Do you think it could be repaired or will it need to be binned?

Wahoo: thing is, I kept the kit on my bike in good nick, regular service, always wiped down.

So I was thinking perhaps I could just replace the frame? If so where to start - budget <1K

you could always send it back to maker and get top tube repaired.

If you want to buy just a frame then look at ribble. Make sure you get the correct bottom bracket type to match your existing chain set though

That CR1 looks fantastic. Rang LBS who said they can do crash replacements - anybody ever gone down that route? Or any experience with ribble?

Mind if I ask how you came off the bike? I know some people had been warning about some treacherous loose gravel and debris on the road up that way.

No problem, to be honest, three of us came down in the one spot, the road is in a bad way all right, loose gravel and pot holes, hand actually hit the pot hole and needed to be glued back together...

I have attached a pic of where it happened...
