Retraining in SQL Server Admin

    what would realistically be involved in starting learning SQL Admin. I have looked at the Microsoft 461 and 462 courses. Would they be my best bet to start off from.

    I would start with the oldest SQL server that you can still certify for and go from there. While 2012 is the latest, there are probably more servers in production that run older versions. Just my opinion.

    There is also the MTA 98-364 Database Administration Fundamentals that gives a good grounding to the 70-461 & 70-462 exams.
