Oil in some of the spark plug tubes - gasket?

I was changing the spark plugs on a newly acquired Focus tonight, when I noticed oil, lots of it, on the socket after dipping into two of the spark plug tubes (1 and 2). The edge of the rocker cover on that same side was really grimy with oil, suggesting it's suffered this for a while.

My limited diagnosis points to the need for a new rocker cover gasket, is there anything else I should do while I've got it all off? A video I watched on youtube suggested getting spark plug tube seals too, not something I'd have thought to get.

Lift off the cam cover and see if the cam seals or crank seal is leaking in sympathy with it ?
