Should I like her more?

    Hi

I've met a nice girl about 3 months ago. During that time I've met her around 10 times. (We were both away for periods in between)

I do like her - I don't have anything wrong with her. And I do fancy her... I guess.
She's also quite good looking too which us always a nice bonus.
But I don't hugely fancy her. I don't have massive excitement about meeting her - although I do enjoy our meetings.
She seems quite keen towards me.

I certainly don't want to break up with her.

I guess im hoping for some eureka date where ill suddenly fall for her big time.

Have many people been in this position ? What was the outcome? Did that eureka moment ever happen?

Ive been through this a few times myself....meeting someone nice, who is good looking, kinda meets the requirements but that little extra something is missing. Ive decided, for me, I want that extra something....its kinda up to yourself what you want from a relationship. Personally I think its worth holding out, waiting for that extra special something......best of luck :)

    Who cares?

I don't mean that dismissively about this topic OP, I mean why should you care about how much you like her or not?

I'm getting a "young" vibe off you, so I'm assuming that you've got quite a few years before you should even think about a proper relationship. Plenty of time, and plenty of fish I say!

Try out a relationship and it works, great! If not, move on!

    Have fun!

I think the above poster has missed the point a little. I think you owe it to yourself, and even more so to her to move on from this.

Ask yourself - Is it fair on her that shes with someone who isn't crazy about her? Does she not deserve that? Its all well and good having fun if both of you see it as that. But if the feeling are very much unbalanced, I would suggest that you are essentially wasting your time and setting this girl up for a fall.

The fair thing would be to let her go and find someone who is truly crazy about her.

Would you both have a lot in common with each other? Similar values, similar backgrounds, similar ambitions?

You say she is good looking. Would you say you have chemistry?

Yeah you should like her more. You don't and that's okay, it just means you'll never have anything more.

It's only fair to both of you to call it off now and go have some fun with people who actually excite you.
